The Finnish Student Health Service piloted last year a Medixine screening system for new students. All students receive an e-mail message that acts as a key to a personal questionnaire. The questionnaire is then viewed by a nurse and the student will receive an invitation to a personal meeting if that is deemed necessary based on the information provided.
The pilot was succesful and this year all new university students in Finland have used the system. Feedback from the students and the nurses have been excellent.
