Medixine technology consists of server and mobile technologies. The server software runs on Microsoft Windows servers and is built using .NET and the Medixine Series5 Development Platform. The mobile software runs on the Java Micro Edition platform.

Medixine combines the server and mobile technologies and different client devices to provide unique solutions for the health sector. The solutions can be leveraged using web browsers, mobile phones, traditional phones, PDAs, health monitoring devices or interactive TVs.

Medixine uses state of the art IVR technology to leverage natural, speech-driven use of interactive electronic services. The IVR technology is used for instance in patient notification and managing appointments. Medixine IVR applications use a standards-based (CCXML, VoiceXML 2.1), web-integrated platform that enables us to deliver flexible, cost effective voice solutions.
