The text message program is provided to you by your health plan. Please contact your health plan for detailed information on the program. The support addresses are listed on this page.

Terms and conditions

Msg & data rates may apply. No premium charges occur for any messages. 3 messages per month are sent to each member of the program. Charges are applied monthly to your cellphone bill or prepaid balance until opt-out.

An agreement must be made between the health plan and each member of the program before opt-in. Opt-in is not possible without this agreement. The opt-in and opt-out procedures are described below.

 

You can get help at any time by texting HELP into 30949. To opt-out, send text STOP into number 30949. More detailed instructions are provided below.

How to opt-in

The health plan selects the customers who are offered the service. After an agreement between the health plan and customer, a confirmation text message is sent to the customer.

 

When you receive the message "Do you wish to join the E-Care program?", please send text YES into number 30949 from your mobile phone. If you do not wish to join, do not send any response or send response NO.

We will unsubscribe you from the program immediately. You will not receive any additional messages after opting out.

FAQ

What do if I do not receive the message asking me to opt-in?

Please note that all carriers and phone models are not supported. If your carrier is supported (see carrier list above), please consult your health plan and ask to join the e-care program.

 

I can't get the STOP message to work, but I want to opt-out. How can I opt-out?

Please consult your health plan. Your health plan contact can remove you from the program even if you are unable to send the STOP message for some reason.

 

I can't send the YES (opt-in) message, but I want to opt-in. How can I opt-in?

Unfortunately joining the program is not possible without sending the YES message. Please note that all carriers and phone models are not supported. 

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you as to what information may be stored, how such information will be used and the security procedures that we have implemented to protect your privacy.

 

Your phone number, health plan member id and the text messages you send to the E-Care Program short code are stored in the service. The estimated date of confinement is stored for pregnant mothers participating in the program. The date of the last HbA1c test may be stored for members with diabetes. The name of the test or test results are not stored in the service, only the date of the last test.

 

We will not share or use your personal information for any other purpose than sending health-related text messages to you. Nonetheless, we reserve the right at all times to disclose any information as necessary to satisfy any law, regulation or governmental request, to avoid liability, or to protect our rights or property.

 

We take all the necessary steps to ensure that your information remains secure. Our servers are located in a highly secure hosting facility and all transmissions from our service are sent via secure channels.

 

Your information will be kept in active files as long as needed to meet the purposes for which it was collected or as required to perform the contractual relationship with your health plan.

 

We reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to change this Privacy Policy in whole or in part, at any time. Changes in the Privacy Policy will be effective when posted on this page. Your continued use of the service after any changes to the Privacy Policy will be considered acceptance of those changes. We encourage you to review this privacy statement periodically to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect.

 

We take privacy concerns seriously. If you believe that we have not complied with this Privacy Policy, you may write to the address below or call us. Please describe in as much detail as possible the ways in which you believe that the privacy policy has not been complied with. We will investigate your complaint promptly.
