Medixine Health Forecasting was chosen as one of the four finalists of this year's European IT Excellence Awards.

IDC EMEA 2007 Award for ICT Innovation

IDC EMEA 2007 Award for ICT Innovation recognizes organizations that have substantially improved their competitiveness and business results by applying information and communication technology to product and process innovation.
In 2007 the UK MetOffice and Medixine won the award with their Health Forecasting application.

Computerworld Honors Program

The Computerworld Honors Program recognizes individuals and organizations that use information technology to benefit society. The award recipients represent ten industry and government sectors in the U.S. and worldwide.
In 2007, the UK MetOffice was a medalist and among the five finalists in the category of Environment, Energy & Agriculture. The awarded solution was the Health Forecasting system developed together with Medixine.

WSA-Finland: Best solution in e-health

The World Summit Award (WSA) is a global initiative to select and promote the world’s best e-Content, started in 2003 in the framework of the United Nations’ World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS). This is done through national contests, a global contest, held every 2 years, and numerous content-focused national and international conferences and workshops – the WSA Road Show.
Medixine's Medication Compliance solution was selected to be the best e-health solution in Finland in 2006 and will represent Finland in this category of the next WSA in 2007.
The reference customer project in the competition was the Helsinki City Medication Logistics project that is coordinated by Elisa. Other participating companies in the Helsinki project are IBM and Addoz.

NHS Innovation Award

The Parkinson's Disease Team were commended by North Surrey Primary Care Trust and given an Innovation Award for their work in developing a Parkinson's Disease Support Network for their patients in North West Surrey.

Millenium Technology Honorary Award

The Millenium Technology Price Foundation has awarded for the first time three honorary awards to advanced e-services with a social impact. One of the awarded services was the Tampere Central Laboratory e-booking service based on Medixine Scheduling. The awards will be given every two years to implementations of Millenium awarded technologies, this time for solutions that use the Web in an innovative and humane way.

Finalist, Handango Champion Awards

Medixine Weight is a handy software program to all Nokia phone users that helps weight losers set their goals and track their advance. The program also integrates a Body Mass Index (BMI) counter and a handy personal weight database into one compact application. Medixine Weight is distibuted in the EU and in the US.
Handango, one of the leading Java distributors in the United States has nominated Medixine Weight as a finalist for their 2004 Champion Awards.s
